Studio drk is the culmination of our love of art: clay, painting, floral design, illuminations, and ventures around the world.

We create in our studio in Northern Colorado. Rhonda began working with clay fresh out of college. Over the years Rhonda honed her skill in ceramics as well as other artistic endeavors including teaching art and running her own floral design business. David began painting in high school, moving from watercolor to gold leafed illuminations to glaze work. Our collaboration in ceramics reflects our individual as well as collective creativity. Rhonda does the wheel work while David does design and hand-building. We would love to share our art with you.
Studio drk donates 15% of profits to art-related charitable projects. Currently, we’re sponsoring several micro-loans through Kiva.org.
When we’re not in the studio, we are outside exploring Nature, hiking, riding our tandem bicycle, camping, golfing, paddling in our kayak, sharing meals with family and friends, or traveling the world.
Ceramic art is a dirty process. It is mud, after all.
